Design and Development
Our team of R & D engineers have acquired great
experience in the design, development and technical
analysis of all types of transformer, sensors,
mutual inductors and power modules. We can design,
test and ship initial samples within one week after
customer design confirmation. |
Mechanical and electrical development
team
All the main machines and equipment in our production
facility were designed and built by our own R &
D team. We have so far 10 automatic core winding machines
and 200 Annular coil winding machines for different
sizes of toroidal transformers. Our capacity is more
than enough to meet customers various requirements.

Iron core production equipment
‧Silicon steel slitting : Slitting velocity = 30
Tons per day
‧Core winding : We can produce the cores with
heights from 8mm up to 110mm, and with outer diameters
from 20mm up to 450mm using automatic high-speed
precision twin-axle core winding machines.
For an example of our production speed – we can produce
an 80mm diameter iron core in just 30 seconds.
‧Core stress-relief annealing : Our cores are
heat treated in Bell-shaped covered furnaces, thus increasing
production efficiency and quality.
‧Resin-soak hardening : Our core winding
techniques produce an excellent base for high electrical
insulation. A resin-soak hardening process fills any
gaps between core windings, thus producing an even high
electrical insulation plus additional mechanical
strength.
Coil winding equipment
With more than 200 coil winding and forming machines
we can produce inductors and transformers with diameters
from 20mm up to 450mm. We are able to provide different
structures such as Multi-filar winding, Lap winding and
Attach-Detach winding.

Testing Equipment
Along with our 50 winding counter machines and a wide
range of additional testing equipments, our highly trained
laboratory technicians perform: humidity tests, pressure
tests, temperature-rise tests and ageing treatment tests.
Production capacity
Our current production capacity is 500,000 pieces per
month. Our production planning department needs only 60
days to increase this level by 30%, and we currently
plan to increase our future capacity to 1.5 million
pieces per month to satisfy our customers increasing
demand.

Dinkle is ISO 9001 accredited and we
have constructed a comprehensive management system that
controls all aspects of our operations.
All of our materials and components are approved to
international standards and are supplied by accredited
manufacturers.
All of our products are tested and approved by UL and
VDE and our processes are strictly controlled so that
these approvals are maintained.
Goods-in materials inspection
All incoming raw materials and components supplied to
us are thoroughly tested against our strict specified
requirements.
| These
tests include: |
‧Silicon steel core
loss test
‧Enaminal wire pinhole test
‧Wire conductivity test
‧Fuse blow out characteristics test |
Systematic production-line inspection
Strict quality control is maintained during the
production processes with interval batch.
| These
tests include: |
‧Core exciting
current test
‧Primary turns test
‧Secondary turns test
‧Layer insulation test |
Goods-out inspection
Based on customer and accreditation requirements, our
products are put through final tests before delivery to
customers.
| These
tests include: |
‧Ageing treatment
testing and Performance testing
‧Isolation and hi-pot test
‧Packaging check |
|
 |
|
Based on customer specification
requirements, UL and VDE accreditation has been attained
and our QA test laboratory performs specific test
procedures to check that we maintain the necessary high
standards to keep the accreditation. |

The feature of Toroidal Transformer
‧High Efficiency : Can be up to 50% smaller in height and
weight compared to E-I transformers.
‧Energy Saving : The reduced material required for Toroidal transformers results
in less production time and thus less energy usage.
‧Light : The Toroid is the optimum design form and thus reduces material usage
and therefore the required weight of the
transformer.
‧Small : Up to 40% smaller than E-I transformers, thus allowing customers to
produce smaller equipment designs.
‧Variable Dimension : The flexiblity of the core dimension design accommodates
with various size of product installment space.
‧Ease of Mounting : Various mounting methods to suit all application
requirements.
‧Low noise : Toroidal core construction reduces air gap possibilities and thus
acoustic hum.
‧Low Magnetic Flux Leakage : Produces less leakage compared to E-I and R-Core
tramsformers. |
